Imagination’s alignment with human creative skill, typically in a visual form, forms the ‘Art’. Sanjay Pasari sees such talent as the initial point or element in the creation of something called a ‘Masterpiece’ whether in the form of any painting or art.

Our emotions and moods are influenced by a variety of artistic styles. It is the only art that helps us to express ourselves to the world through our emotions, feelings, and the creativity of the mind.

Let’s Explore the Different forms of Art and Painting-

  • Visual Arts- Visuals indicate something that can be seen, for instance, Paintings, Sculptures, and Architecture, can be seen with eyes. Such forms are the form of representations that blend with imagination, thoughts, and skills and result in something beautiful. Eg. Mona Lisa, a painting by Leonardo da Vinci.
  • A drawing is a manual depiction of any shape or object using a tool such as a pencil, pen, or charcoal. Drawings don't always reflect the world as we view it. A drawing can also be abstract, reflecting specific feelings and concepts that the artist is experiencing and that are up for interpretation.
  • Paintings are categorized based on the style in which they were created, as well as the genre and primary subject matter. Painting genres that are popular among painters include still life, landscapes, seascapes, abstract, and pop art.
  • Calligraphy is the practice of writing letters in a way that makes them visually beautiful. Visual art in the form of calligraphy is highly valued commercially and is in high demand.
  • Applied Art- Architecture is a type of applied or business art. Any construction may be designed and built, which may appear like a feat of science, but effective architectural design is truly a form of art.

Paintings-

All the paintings are primarily subjected to 7 types-

  1. Portrait Painting- One of the most well-known styles of painting that focuses on capturing natural features on the canvas is landscape painting.
  2. Still, Life- Paintings of still life that conjure up images of lifeless nature are anything but. It represents "free speech" in the realm of art.
  3. Abstract Painting- Although this was one of history's most significant movements, abstract painting is also a style of artwork. This style of painting aims to give an entirely deformed painting a significant message.
  4. History Painting- Paintings that depict historical events are referred to as historical or history paintings. These paintings' primary goal is to include a moral lesson as a crucial element.
  5. Landscape Painting- One of the most well-known styles of painting that focuses on capturing natural features on the canvas is landscape painting.
  6. Religious Painting- Religious paintings are the ones that depict mythical or religious figures or events.
  7. Allegory- In this painting technique, items or topics are used to represent many emotions, including sadness, love, passion, hate, and happiness.

Thus, there are several forms of art and painting and more importantly, all the forms are formed in imagination at the initial level.
